Order Processing times

Standard processing times. Most orders will be dispatched within 3-5 working days (not including weekends and bank holidays).

Products marked for 'Expedited Delivery' will be processed within 1–3 working days. (Note: Working days exclude weekends and bank holidays.) If you need it faster, you can select our Next Day Service at checkout. Orders placed using this service before 3 PM on a weekday will be dispatched the same day for delivery the following day. 

Please Note: Next Day and Expedited delivery services are not available for prescription items. These orders require additional processing time to allow our pharmacy team to clinically check and validate your prescription before dispatch

We can't guarantee processing times, but rest assured, our Customer Service team will keep you fully informed of any delays.

Royal Mail/DPD

All orders are dispatched using DPD or Royal Mail, dependent on the choices made at checkout, with the exception of those orders containing more than 2 aerosols and heavy/bulky packages. For these parcels our delivery partner, DPD is used.

Tracked Royal Mail (48-hour service)

PIN / Refrigerated Delivery

  • PIN Delivery from £5.99, Refrigerated Delivery from £5.99
  • These services will be used for high value, Refrigerated and Controlled Drugs that require us to ensure a delivery reaches the intended recipient.
  • Refrigerated deliveries will be made on the day selected by the customer.
  • A PIN will be sent to secure the delivery which must be given to the driver or a signature will be required.

Express Next Day & Weekend Delivery.

  • Not available on orders to Ireland and the offshore islands of England and Scotland. Postcode restrictions apply, not available in all areas.
  • Expedited dispatch and next day delivery on orders placed before 3.00pm Monday - Friday
  • Orders placed on a Friday will require Weekend delivery service, additional charges apply.
  • Signature required on delivery. (Deliveries not made on Sundays or Bank Holidays).
  • Prescription orders not included, as these require extra processing time for clinical validation by our pharmacy team.

Delivery within the UK

Free delivery does not apply to items requiring specialised DPD delivery, this includes but not limited to more than 3 aerosols, Controlled Drugs and items requiring temperature controlled deliveries.

Store items and Over The Counter products

All delivery dates are estimates and NOT guaranteed unless the Next Day service is selected and paid for.

Please note not every item is eligible for Special Next Day Delivery, the customer care colleagues will contact you if this option is selected but cannot be fulfilled. This could occur where additional information is required to authorise the sale of medicines.

Customers will receive an email on dispatch with their DPD tracking number and contact details.

Deliveries of 2 or more aerosols to Northern Ireland and the offshore islands of England and Scotland (including Highlands) will incur an additional charge of £6. Delivery will be via DPD on a 48-hour service. We may need to split orders to ensure delivery.

Click and Collect

  1. Choose from 1000's of health and beauty products and add them to your basket.
  2. At checkout, select the local Weldricks Pharmacy you would like to collect from.
  3. Enter your details and complete your order with our secure online payment process. You will receive an e-mail confirming we have received your order and are working on it.
  4. You will receive an email when your order is ready to collect. Please note the collection date and time on the e-mail as the item will not be ready to collect until after this point. Pop into your chosen Weldricks Pharmacy to collect your goods at a time convenient to you.

Prescriptions

FREE for all NHS Prescriptions

Private Prescriptions follow the same charges as normal transactions.

A PIN will be sent directly to the email address and or mobile number given when placing your order. This will be required when receiving your order.

Heavy items

Heavy items will be sent using our alternative courier, DPD. Additional charges may apply. Customer Services will contact customers if this is the case.

Liquids and Aerosols

Orders containing more than 2 aerosols cannot be sent using Royal Mail Next Day Delivery and so will be sent using DPD - additional charges will apply and free delivery does not apply. Customer Services will contact customers with further information once an order is received.

Unfortunately, we cannot deliver aerosols internationally, to Northern Ireland or to the offshore islands of England and Scotland. We can, however, still deliver to the Scottish Highlands mainland but due to a change of courier service a postage charge may occur, please call our customer services team for more information on 0808 164 3211.

Controlled Drugs, Items requiring cold storage, High value items.

These deliveries will be made using the DPD PIN service.

A PIN number will be sent on dispatch and prior to delivery to your entered email address and/or mobile number. The driver will require this PIN to complete delivery.

These deliveries will have limited "in-flight" options Redirection and Re-delivery options maybe limited and the number of retries will also be limited.

This is to ensure that items where we have a responsibility to ensure they reach the intended recipient only, or where the stability of the product requires us to delivery in a timely manner are delivered as intended. Our customer care team can advise on the requirements of this service or arrange dispatch on a particular day to ensure your are available to take the delivery.

A 1 hour delivery window will be supplied on the day of the delivery.

Delivery outside of the UK

We regret that since The European Union Falsified Medicines Directive (FMD) (2011/62/EU) (1) was implemented in the UK on 1st June 2015 we are not allowed to supply UK licensed medicines to any other EU member state, this is because medicines licensed for the UK are not normally licensed for another EU country. We do not offer delivery to countries outside the UK and we accept no liability for any freight forwarded outside the UK. Requests for refunds will require the buyer to arrange return of the goods to Weldricks at their cost.

Northern Ireland Veterinary Supply Changes in 2026

Due to new regulatory requirements under the Windsor Framework taking effect on 1st January 2026, we are currently unable to ship veterinary medicinal products (including POM-V and POM-VPS products) to Northern Ireland. These updated regulations require specific licensing for products entering the Northern Ireland market which restricts our current supply route from Great Britain. Consequently, we have had to suspend the delivery of all veterinary medications to Northern Ireland until a compliant shipping solution is established. For more information see our guide.

 

Postage Insurance

Unfortunately, your order is only covered for contents up to £100, Special Next day Guaranteed service orders are covered for up to £750.

If any package is of a higher value than this, then it is the responsibility of the customer to obtain additional postal insurance. Details of these costs can be gained by contacting our Customer Service Department.

Deliveries to Northern Ireland and the offshore islands of England and Scotland will incur additional postage charges. Customer Services will contact you with further information once your order is received.
