Constipation is a common issue and Laxido can offer you quick relief. This product works like a laxative to release the build up of faeces in the bowel. While it is a treatment designed to relieve you of constipation, it can also be used to empty the bowel before a procedure such as a colonoscopy or an enema.
Laxido contains the active ingredient Macrogol 3350 as well as electrolytes. It softens the stools by increasing the water content and thereby making them easier to pass. It can also be used as a treatment for faecal impaction. If you are considering whether Laxido is right for you, read on to find out more.
Laxido provides quick relief from constipation and should not be used for more than fourteen days in a row. You should take one sachet up to three times per day and dissolve it in water for fast constipation relief. Spread out over the course of the day, Laxido Orange sachets will produce regular soft stools.
The speed that Laxido takes to work depends on a variety of factors. Some people experience its effects within 6 hours, but it may take up to 12 hours or longer. The course of treatment can last up to two weeks.
Although Laxido works overnight for some people, this depends on your particular case. If you suffer from chronic constipation it may take longer. In some cases of constipation, the recommended course of treatment is two weeks.
If you are suffering with faecal impaction, the dose you will need is significantly higher. All eight sachets should be taken within a six-hour timeframe. The usual course of treatment for faecal impaction usually lasts around three days in total.
