Please be aware that this product contains Liquid Paraffin which is highly flammable, keep away from open or gas fires or hobs and naked flames, including candles etc. and not to smoke when using these paraffin containing preparations.
Bedding and clothing should be washed regularly (preferably daily) to minimise the build-up of impregnated paraffin although it may not be completely removed, unless it is washed at a high temperature as paraffin is invisible and can accumulate over time
If you accidentally swallow some see a doctor straight away. Take the pack with you to show which medicine you have swallowed.
Do not use this cream if you or your child have an allergy to phenoxyethanol or any other ingredient listed.
Using Aqueous Calamine Cream during pregnancy and breastfeeding is unlikely to have any ill effects when used as directed. If unsure, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.
If you are having an X-ray, do not apply beforehand as it may affect the outcome of the X-ray examination.
This medicine contains cetostearyl alcohol which may cause local skin reactions (eg: contact dermatitis).
Possible side effects
There are no known side effects from using Aqueous Calamine Cream as directed. If you notice any side effects, stop use and tell your doctor or pharmacist. They will tell you what to do.
