Chlorphenamine Maleate Tablets (Crescent) 4mg Pack of 28

Chlorphenamine is known as an antihistamine that is used to relieve allergies such as hay fever and allergic skin reactions, and also to relieve itching caused by infections such as chickenpox. Chlorphenamine usually takes 30 minutes to 1 hour to work.

Adults and Children aged 12 years and over:

One tablet taken orally every 4 to 6 hours daily.

Maximum dosage is six tablets in 24 hours.

Children 6 - 12 years:

Give half a tablet every 4 to 6 hours.

Do not give more than 3 tablets (6 half tablets) in 24 hours.

Not recommended for children under 6 years of age.

Keep out of the sight and reach of children.

Not recommended for children under 6 years of age.

Do not exceed the stated dose.

May cause drowsiness. If affected do not drive or operate machinery.

Avoid alcoholic drink.

Each tablet contains: 4mg Chlorphenamine Maleate.

Also contains: Lactose, Maize Starch, Magnesium Stearate, Pregelatinised Starch, Quinoline Yellow Lake (E104) and Stearic Acid.
