Mepilex Lite is an absorbent soft silicone dressing made of 3 layers:
- A soft silicone wound-contact layer
- A thin flexible absorbent pad of polyurethane foam
- An outer film which is vapor permeable and waterproof.
Mepilex Lite Dressings are available in various sizes and individually wrapped in a box. This non-adherent foam dressing is indicated for use on leg and foot ulcers, pressure ulcers, partial thickness burns and other non to low exuding wounds.
Mepilex Lite can be used under compression bandaging and in combination with gels, such as Hypergel or Normlgel. It has a wear time of up to 7 days.
