Voltarol Medicated Plaster 140mg One a Day Pack of 5

Voltarol 140mg Medicated Plaster provides effective relief from muscle pain by targeting the cause of pain, the inflammation.

Voltarol 140mg Medicated Plaster is indicated for the local symptomatic and short term treatment of pain associated with acute strains, sprains or bruises on the arms and legs as as result of injuries, eg sports injuries.

Adults and children over the age of 16: Attach one medicated plaster to the painful area. The maximum total daily dose is 1 medicated plaster a day, even if there is more than one injured area to be treated. Treat only one painful area at once.

Pregnancy
In the first and second trimesters of pregnancy or if you want to become pregnant, Voltarol ONE A DAY Medicated Plaster should be used only after talking to your doctor. In the last trimester of pregnancy, Voltarol ONE A DAY Medicated Plaster must not be used because an increased risk of complications for the mother and the child cannot be ruled out (see "Do not use Voltarol ONE A DAY Medicated Plaster").

Breast-feeding
Small quantities of diclofenac pass into the breast milk. Talk to your doctor before using Voltarol ONE A DAY Medicated Plaster during breast-feeding. In any case, if you are breast-feeding Voltarol ONE A DAY Medicated Plaster should not
be applied directly onto the breast area. Oral forms (e.g. tablets) of diclofenac can cause adverse effects in your unborn baby. It is not known if the same risk applies to diclofenac when it is used on the skin.

• Do not use Voltarol ONE A DAY Medicated Plaster for longer than 7 days.
• If this medicine is required for more than 7 days for pain relief or if the symptoms worsen you are advised to consult a doctor.
• Please tell your doctor if significant side effects occur after incorrect use of this medicine or accidental overdose (e.g. in children). He will be able to advise you of any action that may need to be taken.
• If you forget to use Voltarol ONE A DAY Medicated Plaster
• Do not use a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose.
• If you have any further questions on the use of this medicine, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
• For use on skin only and only on intact, non-diseased skin.
• Do not use on the face
• Do not wear when bathing or showering, or use with an air-tight bandage.
• Do not divide the medicated plaster, by cutting with scissors, for example.
• Do not use with any other Voltarol products or any other NSAID medicine.
• Do not use Voltarol 140 mg Medicated Plaster for longer than 7 days.
• If symptoms worsen of persist for longer than 7 days, consult your doctor.
• Not for use on children under 16 years.
